Or brandy.  So you’re not really going to be able to get that slow-cooked eggy richness into the buttercream filling, but you could definitely get some nutmeg (I also add cinnamon and ginger when I make eggnog) and liquor in the filling.  I’d probably add more than seems necessary, since you’ll be tasting the filling by itself, not against the chocolate in the final product—it’s hard to get some subtle flavors to stand up against the darkness and mouth-coating nature of chocolate. &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Salty Malty Truffles&lt;/strong&gt;, a divine confection of fudgy chocolate cake wrapped around a malt ball center, dipped in chocolate and marked with fleur de sel.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;New &lt;strong&gt;Peanut Butter Patties&lt;/strong&gt;, chocolate-covered shortbread cookies with a peanut butter filling. &lt;/li&gt;
